About the Project

Nuritas are a food and agriculture science company in Dublin, Ireland that focus on harnessing the power of AI coupled with science to discover peptides and geonomes in foods.

The Brief

The Nuritas website had originally been designed and built by the agency I was working at however the marketing team had decided that it needed a bit of a refresh and update, plus the inclusion of some snagging and bug fixes.

The new and previous design files were handed to me in preparation for me to prepare work and meetings were scheduled with the marketing team to see what the steps would be moving forward.

The Approach

I approached the prospect of a redesign by carefully comparing the old and the new designs and identifying key changes - this would later reduce my work down the line so I was wholly focused on new work, rather than recreating already perfect parts.

During my changes there were constant internal changes to the design, to the layout of the site and what was expected to be created. These internal issues did delay work and caused me some uncertainty on if what I was doing was correct or not.

The Outcome

My efforts on the Nuritas site were not wholly appreciated by the client because of factors outside of my control and eventually the site was remade again, for a third time. Nonetheless I am including it here because it shows my ability to at least try and work out communication difficulties, even when the odds may be against me.
